Alabama City Guides (alcg.net) is devoted to creating accurate and thorough directories of Alabama cities businesses, schools, churches, etc. Many people already recognize and more are awakening to the realization that the internet is contributing to the future success of many people and businesses.
For example, if a party in a distant state needs to get in touch with a funeral home, bank, florist, real estate agent, a church, or other type business. the first place they now go is the internet. To be listed in a directory will show what choices are available, and that it is highly beneficial to the searcher as well as those being sought.
Our business listing page will give every listing we are able to find and therefore all of each city's businesses will have their names before the public locally, nationally and world-wide. The listings on "bizlisting" pages are free with no strings attached. If any business who has a webpage wishes to have a hyperlink to that page or an email link from the bizlist page, a one-time $5.00 fee will be charged. This same offer is made if any desires a link to a map showing their location.
Churches are also listed on a seperate listing page and are free, however, as with the regular businesses, installation of a website link, email link, or link to map showing their location will require a one-time $5.00 fee for each link.
We also offer advertising of almost any degree imaginable. Anything from $3.00 per month to perhaps several hundred dollars for a complete and extensive website. To be listed in a directory offers the searcher an opportunity to get in touch with one or more businesses he may be seeking. But it is another thing entirely to have an advertisement which explains your products or services, your resources and capabilities. A clear and well designed ad can often convince the prospect of your product or service before he contacts you.
Our regular rate for classified ads is $.15 per word ($3.00 minimum) per calendar month to be paid in advance. All classifieds run, and are charged, from the first day of the calendar month through the last day of the calendar month. They may be purchased for one month or any multiple of months. Ad content must be received by the 24th of the month, preceding the month to be run, in order to assure a full month's display.
RATES: A block ad of approximately 170 x 90 pixels costs $5.00 per month (home page $7.50). A 400 x 90 pixels ad costs $10.00 per month (home page $15.00). No other size ads will be accepted for the home page. Other sizes of ads are available and may be negotiated for all other pages.
