New Frontiers International is an organization led by one Terry Virgo of Brighton, England. His base is the "Church of Christ the King" located in Brighton. They profess to have over 300 churches in their organization located in 26 nations. Dividing 300 by 26 gives you an average of 11.5 churches (congregations) per nation. They list 12 in the United States, 7 of which are in the state of Missouri. I have not been able to determine the date this movement was started but, apparently it has not been many years. | Kingdom Life Church-Northhampton (Member NFI | |
I certainly hope that everyone has a great year in 2003, physically, financially, and especially spiritually! We might have very limited control over the first two, but we can certainly bring about the third. We can get on our arthritic knees more often, and stay longer. We can read more of, and about God's word. We can have compassion on others more. We can invite others to study with us more. This we can control. |

Fourteen times in the King James Version the phrase “his own soul” appears. Eight of these occurrences are found in the book of Proverbs. It is a truly amazing array of matters that is covered in this book by this phrase. In each of the eight instances in which this phrase is employed by Solomon a different word or phrase precedes it. The examination of these instances makes for a tremendously interesting study. Over the next few weeks let us examine the uses of this phrase in the book of Proverbs. (The eight verses in which the phrase is found are: 6:32; 8:36; 11:17; 15:32; 19:8; 19:16; 20:2; 29:24.) |

Does your congregation have a web site? Can you add, update and delete
information from your existing web site easily? If you answered no to
either question visit The Lord's Way. This new service allows you to create a web
site for your congregation and update it yourself whenever you want by
simply completing online forms. The service is designed for any
congregation that wants a web site that contains current, updated and fresh
information but does not want to invest the time and money in learning about
the inner-workings of the Internet. Your new site will be packed with
information about your congregation. Visit us and take a tour! I would be interested in any preacher(s)'s libraries that are not in use. I promise to put any and all books to good use, either by myself, or other preachers or preaching students. Please don't let them sit in boxes out in the garage. I would gladly pay for postage, and if you require, I may be able to purchase them from you. Please call or email, Tim Smith at: (903) 935-7448; EMAIL.

Well, here it is, 2003 and it seems like only a few weeks back when everyone was frightened of the Y2K bug. Three years passed in only a few short weeks. We did witness some awful things during that time though. Let us all pray that this year will bring many wonderful things as far as progress towards world peace, and progress in our efforts to spread God's word. |

Truth Laden Quotes A liberal is someone who feels a great debt to his fellow man, which debt he proposes to pay off with your money. -- G. Two men were traveling together, when a Bear suddenly met them on their path. One of them climbed up quickly into a tree and concealed himself in the branches. The other, seeing that he must be attacked, fell flat on the ground, and when the Bear came up and felt him with his snout, and smelt him all over, he held his breath, and feigned the appearance of death as much as he could. The Bear soon left him, for it is said he will not touch a dead body. When he was quite gone, the other Traveler descended from the tree, and jocularly inquired of his friend what it was the Bear had whispered in his ear. "He gave me this advice," his companion replied. "Never travel with a friend who deserts you at the approach of danger." |

Household of Faith Ezine is published every two weeks beginning in September, 2001. Materials in this are gleaned and compiled by the editor, Joel Hendon. Our purpose is to help present items of interest to New Testament Christians, to furnish a "meeting" place for Christians to help other Christians by doing business with them and for other such interaction.(...let us do good unto all men, especially unto them that are of the household of faith. Gal 6: 10). To submit any messages, articles, ads, announcements or comments, Click Here.
Policies & Charges: Subscription to this ezine is free and may be started simply by requesting it via email to the above address.
