THE WORLD CHURCH OF THE CREATOR (!?)

I suppose this is probably the worst excuse for a church or religion that I have ever heard of. These people are Atheist, hate mongers and mentally ill. They believe in no God, other than white mankind. It is obvious that they have formed and perpetuate this "church" for no reason whatsoever other than to be able to share in the protection offered under the first amendment, for a means of raising money, and to spread hatred.

I witnessed, a few nights ago, an interview by a Fox News reporter with the head DoDo bird of this group, a fellow referred to as "Reverend" Matt Hale the "Pontifex Maximus" (High Priest) of the cult. When the reporter confronted him with the question concerning his "church" spreading hate, he insisted that they spread love and charity towards white people. But under other rather heated questioning, he admitted that all non-whites (and included Jews in the non-whites) were enemies of the white people and therefore must be dealt with. He says that whites are quickly heading to being a minority race if something isn't done.

Their seeming inferences are that whites own the U.S.A.! We are all immigrants or immigrants descendants except for the native Indians. And I'm sure he excludes them also since their skin is darker than his. Christians cannot be racially prejudiced and remain pleasing to God. That doesn't just mean that he cannot speak derogatorily of other races, he cannot think that he is superior to others. God knows our thoughts and intents.(Hebrews 4: 12) Rather, it is people who are radical extremists such as these people, the Ku Klux Klan, NAACP, "Skin Heads" or any other such group that promulgates and perpetuates distrust and hatred between the races, who should be outlawed and those who will not relent their evil activites should be deported (somewhere) or incarcerated. This is a generally free country (and give God the glory!) but freedom should cease where agitators and trouble makers are concerned. I urge you to read some of the following informative links.

THE SIN OF MASS HATRED
By Gary Freeman

Racial hatred is wrong. It is incontrovertibly, categorically, indisputably wrong. It is, in fact, a sin, and not just any sin at that, but one of the most horrible and inhumane of sins. It is a sin against God, against the human race, and against one's own heart. There is no sane justification for it. It is diametrically opposite to every Christian principle that relates to man's feeling for man.

Consider the teaching of Christ. He said, "A new commandment I give to you, that you should love one another." He said, "By this shall men know you are my disciples if you have love one for another." He said, "The greatest among you shall be your servant." He said, "He that exalts himself shall be abased, and he that humbles himself shall be exalted." The Bible says, "How can you say you love God whom you have never seen if you do not love man whom you have seen." James said, "Show no partiality." Peter said, "Of a truth I perceive that God is no respector of persons." Jesus washed the disciples feet to demonstrate the kind of humility we should have and he made a hated Samaritan the hero of one of his most memorable parables.

How foreign to the Christian religion is racial hatred! Where Christ teaches love, racists teach hate; where Christ teaches humility, racial hatred teaches arrogance and superiority; where Christ teaches compassion, racists foment contempt for others. Is there any sin known to man more antithetical to the spirit of the Christian religion than mass hatred?

And yet race hatred flourishes in our churches. Not only does it flourish but it is tacitly condoned. Is not this the final irony? What kind of mockery of God is this that we hate our fellowman and hold him in contempt and then seek God's authority for it? What kind of a perverted mind does it take to suppose that God gives his approval to our hate? We are bold to subpoena God to be our false witness.

Is God the God of the white man only? Is He the God of the rich only? Is God so impotent that he finds it expedient to take sides with the powerful in the subjugation of the weak? It is a pathetic thing when man seeks to make over God in the image of man.

Some would have the church be silent on this issue. How can the church be silent and still declare the whole counsel of God? Shall we vacillate, dissemble, be intimidated? Are we required to be silent partners in this malodorous, unchristian attitude? Must we hold the clothes of those who would martyr the world's disenfranchised?

To those of us who claim kinship with Christ we say: shall we who wear His name be the last to recognize the brotherhood of man? Are we of all men the most inflexible, the most hateful, the most spiteful? Was it of us that he said, "You are the light of the world"? Are we instead to be the darkness of the world?

Unchain yourself. Racial prejudice is a weight that no man should have to bear. Refuse to let your heart harbor these inhumane feelings. How blessed and peaceful is that soul where covert animosity does not take refuge! Let the Word of God and the love of God dwell in you richly.

ABOUT IRAQ

For those who have an interest in Iraq's geographical layout, here is a link to a really great relief map of the nation, also showing those bordering nations which surround it. Turkey, north of Iraq is what was once referred to as Asia Minor. Then clockwise, we have Iran with an enormously long border on the east side. Iraq has only a very small snout or panhandle-like protrusion on the southeast corner which reaches the Persian Gulf. Then, there is tiny Kuwait also on the southeast corner with Saudi Arabia then covering the south and wrapping all the way up to Jordan on the west side which is almost due west from Baghdad.

Syria then covers the northwest section on up to Turkey. Iraq would be mostly desert wasteland were it not for the Tigris and Euphrates rivers which run from the northern portion down the eastern side of the country to the Persian Gulf.

Also, Iraqi country, like their western neighbor, Saudi Arabia, is very rich with oil. They would, indeed be a great nation were they not under the control of the tyrant Saddam Hussein.

MUSINGS OF JOEL

With the seeming threat of eminent war upon us, I have been unable to keep my mind off of it very long at a time. We all need to pray without ceasing that something can be done to avoid needless loss of life. I fully understand the necessity for our resolve to eliminate the threat that Iraq is to us and much of the world. But we can still pray that Saddam Hussein will come to his senses, eventhough that seems futile.

Although not a religious subject, I thought I would give you a very abbreviated rundown on this man's life and style.

He was born April 28, 1937 in a mud house located near Tikrit, Iraq. He was orphaned at a very young age and was raised on a melon farm by a very devout Sunni uncle. After his climb to a position of power, many of his top advisors and henchmen came from this town and became known as the "Tikrit Mafia". While in school in 1955, he joined the Baath Arab Socialist Party. Then, in 1959, he led an unsuccessful attempt to assassinate Iraqi military leader, Abdul Karim Kassem and had to flee to Cairo where he studied law.

In 1963, a Baath Party coup overthrew Kassem and Saddam returned to Iraq and became involved in the party's politics. Then, later that same year, the Baath party was overthrown and he had to go into hiding but was found and imprisoned from 1964 to 1965. When he escaped, he formed a militia which brought the Baath party back to power in a bloodless coup. He was then made vice chairman behind his cousin, General Ahmed Hassan al Bakr. When they were targeted by many coup and assassination attempts, they responded by massive executions of dissenters.

He siezed the presidency of Iraq in 1979 and shortly afterward, ordered some 400 members of his Baath party executed. The Kurds of northern Iraq have started rebellions several times but the ruthlessness of Saddam has kept him in power. He has since been known for his extremely ruthless murders of those that dare speak out against him.

The Oxen and the Axle-Trees

A heavy wagon was being dragged along a country lane by a team of Oxen. The Axle-trees groaned and creaked terribly; whereupon the Oxen, turning round, thus addressed the wheels: "Hullo there! why do you make so much noise? We bear all the labor, and we, not you, ought to cry out."
