In my searches for valuable websites to link to, I often run square into some that are not so valuable. But then, maybe they are.
The man cannont understand what he reads, nor can he properly understand translation information so how can he possibly criticize an inspired writer of the Bible? He criticizes the translation of what he says is "oph" to "winged creeping things." The spelling of the word he refers to is owph and is not the original but a transliteration of the original Hebrew "vw(" the definition of which is: "Flying creatures, fowl, birds, insects; (a) Birds, Fowl (b)winged insects. So the translators of the King James version knew more about what they were doing than this man which the Bible refers to as a "fool". (Psalms 14:1, 53:1)
So, you see, God's word has again proven itself to be accurate when it expresses anything. Would not the people mentioned in Psalms 14:1 be elated if only once they could show even the slightest proof that there is an error in the scripture? Below, you will find a link to this infidel website as well as some to good articles on this subject. |

(AgapePress) - There's been a big victory for Christian students at one Michigan high school. Officials at that school have decided to permit a Christian student club to express its message at the school's multicultural show. |

One of the least favorite visitors at a summer evening picnic is probably the common mosquito. The irritating buzzing sound as it passes your ear on the way to feast on the blood coursing through your neck, can set off a frenzy of swatting and spraying of bug repellent. After you have been used as supper by this lowly insect, the mildly painful and itching bite inflicted is more of a nuisance than an injury. And yet, while we may have a total disdain for this blood eating creature, the method she (in many species only the female eats blood) uses to obtain her food shows a marvelously thought out plan designed by God for her survival. Does your congregation have a web site? Can you add, update and delete
information from your existing web site easily? If you answered no to
either question visit The Lord's Way. This new service allows you to create a web
site for your congregation and update it yourself whenever you want by
simply completing online forms. The service is designed for any
congregation that wants a web site that contains current, updated and fresh
information but does not want to invest the time and money in learning about
the inner-workings of the Internet. Your new site will be packed with
information about your congregation. Visit us and take a tour! I would be interested in any preacher(s)'s libraries that are not in use. I promise to put any and all books to good use, either by myself, or other preachers or preaching students. Please don't let them sit in boxes out in the garage. I would gladly pay for postage, and if you require, I may be able to purchase them from you. Please call or email, Tim Smith at: (903) 935-7448; EMAIL.

Did you ever stop and wonder what it would be like to be an atheist, infidel, or what ever you may prefer to call them? It somehow seems to me to be a life as depicted by the comic strip character "Born Loser". It is a lose, lose situation. It is as a quote I read about Alexander Campbell once when he was having a discussion with an atheist. He said, "Sir, you are like that ox over there, you have no hope." |

A controversy prevailed among the beasts of the field as to which of the animals deserved the most credit for producing the greatest number of whelps at a birth. They rushed clamorously into the presence of the Lioness and demanded of her the settlement of the dispute. "And you," they said, "how many sons have you at a birth?' The Lioness laughed at them, and said: "Why! I have only one; but that one is altogether a thoroughbred Lion." |

Household of Faith Ezine is published every two weeks beginning in September, 2001. Materials in this are gleaned and compiled by the editor, Joel Hendon. Our purpose is to help present items of interest to New Testament Christians, to furnish a "meeting" place for Christians to help other Christians by doing business with them and for other such interaction.(...let us do good unto all men, especially unto them that are of the household of faith. Gal 6: 10). To submit any messages, articles, ads, announcements or comments, Click Here.
Policies & Charges: Subscription to this ezine is free and may be started simply by requesting it via email to the above address. All members and congregations of the New Testament church of our Lord may submit announcements which will be published free. Classified advertisements, likewise, will be published free until further notice. If the volume of ads becomes overwhelming, a small charge may become necessary. Under no circumstances will charges be made without notification to subscribers. We reserve the right to decline to publish any article, announcement, ads, or other such materials for any reason such as limited space, anything considered undesirable from a Christian's point of view, or any other reason. It is very likely that we will receive many more articles than we will be able to run. All submissions should be kept as concise as practical.
